Qualification and Experience:

Chief Engineer (M.O.) ->
(1) MOT 1st Class (Combined or Motor) Certificate issued
under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958,
(2) 3 years' experience as Chief Engineer or 4 years combined   experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on board a Foreign
going ship.

Engineer-in-Charge (M.O.) ->
(1) MOT 2nd Class (Combined or Motor) Certificate issued
under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
(2) 2 years' experience as independent Watch - Keeping Engineer on board a Foreign-going ship.

LDC ->
(1) Must have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent Examination and must have knowledge of Computer Operation.
(2) Physical Requirement - Sitting (S), Standing (ST), Walking (W), Manipulation by Fingers (MF), Seeing (SE), Reading  & Writing (RW) & Communication (C).

Fire Engine Driver-cum- Pump Operator ->
(1) Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
(2) Must possess a Certificate of training in Fire Fighting from a recognized Institution / Centre.
(3) Must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence for at least 5years.
(4) Must be able to maintain log book and other relevant records.
(5) Must have sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipments, Appliances and manoeuvring of Foam Crash Tender.
(6) Must possess a sound health.
(7) Must to able to conduct, Supervise & attend different fire drills and parades.
(8) Experience - Must have at least 6 years' experience in Fire Fighting work in any recognised fire service out of which at least 2 years' experience in driving various Fire Appliances like Crash Tender & Jeep Fire Tender.
